NAMME Privacy Statement

This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for the National Association of Medical Minority Educators  (“NAMME”).

NAMME is sincerely commitment to your privacy. This statement explains what personally identifiable information we collect, how it’s used and shared, what choices you have in disclosing your information, security, and how you can correct inaccuracies.

NAMME is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. NAMME collects information from our users at several different points on our website.


Profiles & Resource Submission

In using this website, a user may on occasion be required to give their contact information (such as email address). This information is used to contact users and verify the authenticity of the information they have submitted. We will only use it when necessary. You will also have the option at that time to join our email mailing list. It is optional for users to provide additional personal information.

Only NAMME staff or officers who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our organizational administrators and webmasters) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

We work with Cornerstone Communications Group (CCG) secure site to collect credit card payments for membership. Cornerstone will not sell, share, or rent information they collect on our behalf in ways different than what is disclosed in this statement.

It is also important to note, confidentiality clauses are included in all agreements with other entities and independent consultants who provide services to us or make products and services available to you. Under such an agreement, these service providers may receive information about you, but they may only use it for the limited purpose of advancing the mission of NAMME and they are restricted from using this information for any other purpose.
